Harriet P. Herndon was a dedicated educator who spent her life helping young people achieve their dreams.

This fund supports thousands of young learners each year, providing them with the resources they need to pursue their passions and reach their potential.

The fund awards scholarships of up to $5,000 to students who demonstrate financial need and academic merit.

Since its inception in 2014, the Harriet P. Herndon Scholarship Fund has helped hundreds of students achieve their dreams of attending college at North Carolina A&T.

Many have gone on to become doctors, lawyers, teachers, and other professionals.
